St.Bartholomew's is located in Quorn Village, Leicestershire, and is a Church of England Controlled School. The school admits children as rising fives in September and they remain with us until they are eleven (plus) years old.
As a church school, we place special emphasis on the specific teaching and beliefs of the Christian faith within our daily school life, our acts of Collective Worship and through the whole curriculum. We are very fortunate because all staff contribute to acts of Collective Worship. Our acts of Collective Worship are also regularly led by Reverend David Bowler (our local vicar) and Miss Hilary Ayling (representative of the Soar Valley Trust).
The School places great emphasis upon the teaching of reading, writing and arithmetic, and our staff are committed to providing a wide range of balanced learning opportunities to meet high standards of excellence.
The school grounds offer the opportunity for
curriculum enrichment as well as a pleasant environment for children to spend their break
times.
When your child is part of the school we hope that you will take a keen interest in his/her progress and contact the school if you have any concerns. We will contact you if we have any.
We feel justly proud of the school and its achievements. We would welcome the opportunity to share these with you and extend a warm invitation for you to visit the school. Please feel free to contact the school to make an appointment.
