St. Bartholomew’s school admits 75 children per year to Foundation Stage. (PAN or planned admission number). Admissions are co-ordinated by Leicestershire Local Authority and their website can be found on www.leics.gov.uk follow the links to admissions. We currently have 521 children on roll as at November 2019. Attendance for the whole school during the academic year 2018-2019 is 97.17% authorised and 2.48% unauthorised.
Should you wish to apply for a place for your child at the school, please do this through the local authority. If a child is refused a place at the school, the parents have a right to appeal to the local authority, details of how to do this being available on their website above.
As the number of applications has increased, the local authority has agreed an increase in the size of the school to 525 pupils. A building project undertaken recently has provided a further 4 classrooms, a group room and an extension to the school hall.
