The school is in the heart of the community of Quorn having excellent links with St Bartholomew’s Church, Rawlins Academy and many other local organisations including the local universities.

The school supports a number of charities through the year and gives generously to, for example, Rainbows Children's Hospice, Barnardos, Intercare, The Bridge Project, MND, Cancer Research and Traidcraft.  Children often organise their own fund-raising events, showing initiative and enthusiasm.
