A Warm Welcome to you all from St. Bartholomew’s School.

At St. Bart’s we have a very clear Mission Statement. This is based around providing the children with a high quality, nurturing and inclusive learning environment that allows the children to grow as individuals, achieving their personal goals. As part of our focus upon providing an inclusive education, we have a support system in place for children with additional needs. This is based around communication between our Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator, parents and teachers. This allows us to fully support the needs of all children at school and there is also opportunity for parents to support at home too.

We have high expectations of all of the children at St. Bart’s both in their attitude and behaviour within school. This gives us the opportunity to provide focused and exciting learning opportunities. We are very fortunate to have a variety of resources and features in and around the school that enhance the children’s learning. Our school grounds are extensive, and we have both playground and woodland areas for the children to explore; we make the most of this space with Forest School lessons. We also have a Sensory Room that provides the opportunity for children to take time out of the classroom if this is needed as well as outdoor classrooms for Foundation Stage and Year One children.
